The original Signature Series, for When Ordinary Won’t Do!
This piece was created from Butternut wood. Butternut is sometimes called White Walnut, the other Walnut related to Black Walnut. The fruit (nut) is more oval shaped, and the wood is considerably lighter in color than its cousin. The Butternut is native to the northern Eastern United States. Heartwood is usually medium tan sometimes with a reddish tint while the sapwood is a pale yellowish white. The wood finishes well and is a favorite of wood carvers.
